Brief of case  :     The brief of the case is that on 21/04/2006 one Tapan Ojha self proclaimed as Snake Ojha hailed from Lanka Patti, P.O.- Lanka, District-Nagaon, Assam visit the High Court premises, Shillong and acquainted with one Shri Abhijit Sarkar, Asstt. Register (P), Guwahati High Court, Shillong Bench. As per invitation, said Tapan Ojha visited the official residence of Abhijit Sarkar and instructed him to perform some Puja starting from 24/04/2006 to 26/04/2006 and told them to put all their Gold Ornaments in a container for the purpose of Puja and it will be opened later on. But on 26/04/2006, Tapan Ojha left his house and not returned back. On suspicion, complainant himself open the container and found all the Gold Ornaments are missing from the container. Hence this case. He was arrested in Tripura and forwarded to Court. He absconded since 07/11/2006 during the period of his Bail.
